Bill has over twenty years of court room experience, including multiple jury trials, defending professional negligence litigation, and other personal injury claims. He has extensive experience in defending hospitals, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, attorneys, and other professional negligence actions. He is also experienced in defending railroad litigation, premises liability actions, general negligence claims with extensive injuries, including wrongful death and closed head trauma. Additional experience includes insurance coverage issues and interpretation of insurance policies.
Bill received his undergraduate degree from Kearney State College, graduating magna cum laude in 1979, and received his J.D. degree with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1982. He was an Assistant Editor of the Nebraska Law Review (1980 - 1982), and was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif, national legal honorary.
Bill is a member of the Lincoln, Nebraska State and American Bar Associations. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, American Trial Lawyers Association, Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, and is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Defense Counsel Association. In addition to the state courts of Nebraska, he is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Bill and his wife, Crystal, have two daughters. |
